Meet Our President
Joe’s focus is to be an indispensable resource to the people that empower him as their financial planner. His passion for helping people realize lifelong goals and creating lasting financial legacies is what brought him to the financial services industry.
Joe works and coordinates with a variety of strategic partners and financial professionals in providing comprehensive financial planning to his clients. Joe specializes in helping people find money they are losing unknowingly and unnecessarily. One common area where money can often be ‘found’ is in paying for college. Joe works with families in developing efficient strategies to pay for college so that parents can invest in their child’s future at a price they can afford. He is a member of the National College Advocacy Group, has been featured by the Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling and the West Michigan Counseling Association, and partners with West Michigan area high schools.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Joe’s financial career started at The Northern Trust Company in 2006. He went on to become technical coordinator of the team responsible for the daily valuation of multi-national pension funds. In 2011, with Joe’s aspiration to help individuals and families achieve their own meaningful definition of financial success, he joined a major Wall Street firm as a financial advisor. In 2013, his commitment in putting client interests first led him to start Harmon Wealth Management, where being truly independent allows him to provide objective and unbiased advice.
Joe enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, playing the bagpipes and cheering on his beloved Fightin' Irish.
